1<\/span><\/i><\/i>Since when have you been teaching Spanish?<\/div>

More than five years ago, we started teaching Spanish in the United States. At the beginning of 2020, we decided to found our own academy.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

2<\/span><\/i><\/i>Is the staff certified to teach and care for children?<\/div>

Yes. All of our staff members are qualified with three basic certifications:<\/p>

GACE: <\/strong>This is the Georgia State Approved Educator Certification and Assessment Program. The purpose of the GACE assessments is to help the GaPSC ensure that candidates have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the teaching job.<\/p>

CDA:<\/strong> It is a credential that early childhood educators must obtain to demonstrate certain competencies in the care and teaching of children. In addition, they have knowledge of how to nurture the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development of early childhood students.<\/p>

CPR:<\/strong> training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

3<\/span><\/i><\/i>What requirements does the academy staff meet?<\/div>

To teach online:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

  1. They are professionals in education in the Spanish language.<\/li>
  2. They are GACE and CDA certified.<\/li>
  3. They have experience teaching children and adults.<\/li>
  4. They are proficient with online tools.<\/li><\/ol>

    For childcare:<\/p>

    1. They have at least one year of childcare experience.<\/li>
    2. Spanish is their mother tongue.<\/li>
    3. They have a work permit and social security.<\/li>
    4. They have CPR First-Aid certifications.<\/li>
    5. They have a vehicle and have a driver's license.<\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/div>\n
      4<\/span><\/i><\/i>Do you take care of and teach Spanish to children with special conditions: autism, Down Syndrome, etc.?<\/div>

      No. We believe that each child is special and requires personalized attention.<\/p>

      Our staff, so far, is not trained to care for children with these special conditions, since the teaching methods to achieve successful learning are particular for each case.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

      5<\/span><\/i><\/i>Is it mandatory to buy the materials to see the classes?<\/div>

      No. It is up to each person to acquire the extra material for their education.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

      6<\/span><\/i><\/i>How long is each class?<\/div>

      Each class is 2 hours long.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

      7<\/span><\/i><\/i>On what platform are the online classes held?<\/div>

      Classes are taught via Zoom.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

      8<\/span><\/i><\/i>Do you do placement tests?<\/div>

      Yes. We do a test before starting the course to find out the student's level of Spanish. Depending on the result, we determine the method that we will use.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

      9<\/span><\/i><\/i>How to coordinate the registration process and class schedules?<\/div>
